Infants & Children
At Rockwell Physicians, we believe that quality patient care begins at infancy. From newborn exams during the first days of life to preparing for first days of school to cuts and sprains that mark an active childhood, we are committed to provide primary and urgent care for your children.
At Rockwell Physicians we understand that the teen years represents a time of rapid growth and change as children become adults.
As both board certified pediatricians and internists our physicians are uniquely qualified to partner with our teen patients and their parents as they continue to mature.
As teens advance through this season of life, we recognize and encourage teens to “own their health” and respect their ability to make excellent health choices.
At Rockwell Physicians our physicians are board certified Internists and well trained to manage complex medical conditions.
We provide ongoing care and management of chronic problems including: Hypertension, Diabetes, Hypothyroidism, COPD, asthma, coronary artery disease, hyperlipidemia, osteoporosis and others. We also evaluate and treat the common psychiatric problems of anxiety and depression.
As internists we are quite comfortable managing complex medical conditions and coordinate care with our subspecialty colleagues as required.

At Rockwell Physicians getting older does not mean being resigned. Our providers are concerned with encouraging you to be active and involved with the people and activities you love.
While there are realities associated with “just getting older,” our assumptions don’t begin there and we want to be diligent to explore your concerns with the goal to get you back to doing what is important to you.
For our Medicare patients we want to do all we can do help you get the most from what can be a confusing and complex health care system. From Medicare Wellness Screens to managing costs associated with “donut holes” we want you to know we are on your side.
The Rockwell Physical
At Rockwell Physicians we take annual physicals to heart.
So much of promoting good health comes in faithfulness to the everyday aspects of life from eating well, to exercising, to getting plenty of rest.
Although these habits are important, our goals also include identifying risks to your good health and work with you to minimize those risks for the future. Although there is still a long way to go, medicine is becoming increasingly sophisticated in helping us tease out risks that are unique to you. Through a carefully elucidated personal and family history, we offer targeted lab and radiologic testing based on your individual risk of certain diseases. This may include advanced cardiovascular testing that provides more robust cholesterol evaluation and identifies genetic predispositions that allow us to more specifically advise you on lifestyle modifications and medications which best benefit you.
Annual physicals include blood pressure evaluations, height, weight, Body Mass Index calculation, fasting glucose, and lipid evaluation. Additionally, based on individual risk, we may recommend: electrocardiograms, metabolic screening, nutritional counseling; screening for thyroid, liver, kidney, vascular and lung disease. Annual check-ups also may involve referrals for mammography, pap smears and breast exams, screening of PSA and digital rectal exams, referral for colonoscopy, and screening for aortic aneurysm.
In addition, through a health maintenance exam and advanced testing, we may even be able to identify your risk for blood clots, diabetes and certain adverse drug reactions.
At Rockwell Physicians protecting your health is something we take very seriously.
We offer and encourage CDC recommended vaccines from infancy through adulthood.
While our physicians strongly support the efficacy and safety of current vaccines, we respect that parents and individuals are responsible for making the health decisions with which they are most comfortable. For those who have questions regarding vaccines, are concerned about side effects, or have questions about alternative vaccines, we are happy to answer questions and address your concerns.
